Louisiana dirty rice

Ingredients/Components

• salt - 1/2 tsp
• butter - 2 tsp
• pepper - 1/4 tsp
• medium onion, chopped - 1 item
• cooked rice - 2 c
• dried thyme - 1 tsp
• green pepper, cored, seeded and chopped - 1 item
• cooked pork sausage, crumbled fine - 1/2 lb

How to make louisiana dirty rice:

Cook pepper and onion in butter until onion is brown, about 5 minutes. Combine in casserole with remaining ingredients. Bake in a 350° oven for 15 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
