  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • dried parsley - 1 tbsp
  • cans minced or chopped clams - 3 6
  • linguine, cooked - 1 lb
  • water or clam juice - 1/4 c
  • 2-4 cloves garlic, chopped

How to make linguine with white clam sauce:

Rinse clams under running water. Put clams and reserved liquid in medium saucepan. Add 1/4 c. water or clam juice. Add parsley, garlic and olive oil and stir. Bring to a boil and then simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Put linguine in large pasta bowl. Pour sauce over and serve.
