Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- tomato juice - 2 qts
- garlic clove - 1 item
- cans tomato paste
- oregano to taste - 1 item
- ground chuck - 3 lbs
- bay leaves optional - 4 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Saute onion and garlic with ground chuck. Drain well. Add bay leaves, tomato paste, sugar and tomato juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add oregano to taste. Simmer 3 hours. Remove bay leaves. Serve over spaghetti noodles.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
