Linguine with tomatoes and basil
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- linguine
- freshly ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- to 6 large, ripe tomatoes, chopped - 4 item
- Brie cheese, rind removed and torn into pieces - 1 lb
- fresh basil leaves, cut into strips - 1 c
- to 6 garlic cloves, peeled and minced - 4 item
- virgin, first press olive oil - 1 c
How to make linguine with tomatoes and basil:
Combine tomatoes, Brie, basil, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Set aside, covered, at room temperature for 2 to 4 hours.Cook the linguine according to package directions. Drain and toss with the tomato sauce. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and serve. Serves 6.
