Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- oil - 1/3 c
- box Duncan Hines lemon cake mix with pudding - 1 item
- lemon juice real or bottled - 1 tsp
How to make lemon squares:
Mix dry cake mix with 1 egg and 1/2 cup of oil (makes crunchy bottom layer). Reserve 1 cup of this mixture and pat out in pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven. Beat cream cheese, sugar, lemon and egg until light and soft. Spread this over baked layer and sprinkle with reserved mixture. Bake at 350° for another 15 minutes.
