Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- water - 3 c
- egg yolks - 6 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- real lemon juice - 6 Tbsp
- sugar scant - 3 c
How to make lemon pie:
Bring water, sugar, butter, real lemon juice and pinch of salt to a boil in a heavy kettle or double boiler. Once it cooks, add cornstarch, water and egg yolks. Mix together. Cook until thick like honey. Cool and pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg wRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
