Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- can condensed milk - 1 item
- baked pie crust - 1 item
How to make lemon pie:
Separate egg whites and yolks. Add 1/2 cup of lemon juice to yolks slowly. Add sweetened condensed milk. Pour into baked pie shell.Add cream of tartar to the egg whites; beat until stiff. Add 1/2 cup of sugar to egg whites. Beat again until stiff. Put meringue on pie and bake in oven at 350° until brown.
