Lemon pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/4 c
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla extract - 1 tsp
• cream of tartar - 1 tsp
• can Eagle Brand condensed milk - 1 item
• lemon juice - 1 item
• pie shell - 1 item

How to make lemon pie:

Separate eggs. Add egg yolks to condensed milk and stir well. Add lemon juice to taste. Pour in pie shell.

To make meringue, using hand mixer, beat egg whites until fluffy. Add cream of tartar, vanilla and sugar to meringue. Beat until stiff. Spread meringue over pie filling and place in preheated oven. Bake until meringue is golden brown.
