- eggs - 4 item
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- margarine or butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- lemon - 1 item
How to make lemon loaf:
Cream margarine; add sugar and eggs and beat. Grate lemon rind and add to the mixture. Blend in buttermilk alternately with dry ingredients. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cool for ten. Mix 1 cup confectioners sugar and enough juice from lemon to make a glaze.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Kid Friendly.
