  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • egg whites, stiffly beaten - 2 item
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • eggs yolks - 2 item

How to make lemon cream pie:

Cream sugar and butter; add flour and egg yolks. Beat smooth. Add milk, lemon juice and rind. Fold in stiffly-beaten egg whites and pour into partially baked crust. Put in hot oven (425°) and bake until filling is firm to the touch.
