- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg whites, stiffly beaten - 2 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- eggs yolks - 2 item
How to make lemon cream pie:
Cream sugar and butter; add flour and egg yolks. Beat smooth. Add milk, lemon juice and rind. Fold in stiffly-beaten egg whites and pour into partially baked crust. Put in hot oven (425°) and bake until filling is firm to the touch.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Lemon.
