Lemon chicken
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/8 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- cornstarch - 1/3 c
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- m - 1/2 tsp
- finely chopped green onion tops - 1 Tbsp
- cooking sherry optional - 1 Tbsp
- Lemon Sauce recipe follows - 1 item
- chopped ginger root - 1/2 Tbsp
- deboned breasts - 1 item
How to make lemon chicken:
Combine all ingredients, except Lemon Sauce; marinate chicken breasts 4 hours or longer in the refrigerator. Use enough vegetable oil to cover bottom of skillet. Fry chicken, skin side down, over medium heat. Fry until crisp and golden brown. Turn chicken and fry other side. Serve with Lemon Sauce.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
