Lemon-cheesecake bars
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 1 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
How to make lemon-cheesecake bars:
Heat oven to 325°. Combine crumbs with nuts, sugar and butter, blending well. Press firmly on bottom of a 12 x 7-inch baking dish. Bake 10 minutes.Meanwhile, beat cheese until fluffy. Beat in milk, then lemon juice, egg and vanilla. Spread evenly over crust. Bake 20 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched in center. Cool, then cut into 1 x 2-inch bars. Makes 42 bars.
