Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- rind of 1 lemon
How to make lemon bread:
Mix shortening, eggs, milk and sugar in bowl (on low mixer). Then add salt, lemon rind, baking powder and flour until mixed. Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour. Bake in loaf pan.After baked, take from pan and cool on rack. After cool, take juice from lemon and sugar (mixed) and pour over cake.
