Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- coconut - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- cream - 1/4 c
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- cake flour - 1 c
- Add sifted dry ingredients
How to make lazy daisy cake:
Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla and beat until thick. Add sifted dry ingredients. Heat milk and butter to boiling point. Add to mixture. Bake in buttered pan (8 x 8-inch) in moderate oven (350°) for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven and frost. Return to hot oven or broiler to brown.Frosting:3/4 c. brown sugar1/2 c. butter, melted1/4 c. cream1 c. coconut Combine all ingredients. Blend well.
