Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- cream - 4 Tbsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- cup flour - 1 item
- cup sugar - 1 item
- cup milk - 1/2 item
- cup melted butter - 1/4 item
- Butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped - 1/2 cup
- cup coconut - 1/2 item
- TOPPING:2/3 cup light brown sugar
How to make lazy daisy cake:
TOPPING:2/3 cup light brown sugar4 Tbsp. cream1/2 cup coconut1/2 cup nuts. chopped1/4 cup melted butter CAKE: Gradually add sugar to well beaten eggs. Combine butter and milk. Heat until butter is melted. Cool slightly. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add alternately with milk and butter mixture to the eggs and sugar mixture. Bake in 375 oven for 25 min. in square pan.TOPPING: After baking, mix and spread topping over cake and place under broiler until topping bubbles.
