Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 5 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted butter
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- cream - 2 Tbsp
- cup flour - 1 item
- cup sugar - 1 item
- cup milk - 1/2 item
- cup nuts or coconut - 1/2 item
How to make lazy daisy cake:
Frosting:3 Tbsp. melted butter5 Tbsp. brown sugar2 Tbsp. cream1/2 cup nuts or coconut Beat eggs until thick, gradually add sugar, beating consistently. Add vanilla. Add flour, salt baking powder to first mixture; mix well. Heat milk and shortening to boiling point and add all at once to mixture. Beat well.Pour into 8-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
While still hot spread with the frosting mixture. Place under broiler to brown.
