Layered lettuce salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- celery, diced - 1 c
- hard-cooked eggs, diced - 4 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 4 oz
- head lettuce - 1 item
- diced green peppers - 1/2 c
- sweet onion, diced - 1 item
- slices bacon, fried and diced - 8 item
How to make layered lettuce salad:
Tear the cleaned crispy lettuce into bite size pieces and place in a 9 x 12-inch glass dish. Layer rest of ingredients in order given. Add the sugar to the mayonnaise and spread over the top as you would frosting. Top with grated cheese. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 10 hours.
