Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- small onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- salad dressing - 1 1
- cheese, grated - 4 oz
- cream or milk - 1 item
- frozen peas, uncooked - 2 c
- sliced, hard-boiled eggs - 4 item
- bite-sized greens - 1 lettuce
- slices bacon, chipped - 8 item
How to make layered garden salad:
Layer lettuce, onion, eggs, peas and bacon in 9 x 13-inch dish in order given. Mix salad dressing and sugar and add enough milk or cream to make a smooth spreading consistency. Spread over salad like a frosting. Top with grated cheese. Refrigerate 8 to 12 hours before serving.Recipe categories: Salads, Mushroom, Lettuces.
