Layered garden pasta salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- pkg - 7 8
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 3 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- broccoli pieces - 1 c
- medium tomatoes, wedged - 2 item
- green onion with tops, chopped - 1/2 c
- pepperoni slices, cut in half - 1 item
- Bac*Os or real bacon - 1/4 c
- bite size lettuce or salad greens - 4 c
- medium zucchini, 1/2 sliced or quartered - 1 item
- sliced or small pieces cauliflower - 1 c
- green peppers, bite size pieces - 1/2 c
- celery, bite size pieces - 1/2 c
How to make layered garden pasta salad:
Cook pasta as directed, rinse in cold water. Add onions and Bac*Os to pasta. In separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, cheese, sugar and garlic powder. Using a 3 1/2-quart salad bowl, layer lettuce, pasta mixture and vegetables. Top with dressing mixture and border with tomatoes; top with extra Bac*Os.
