Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 7 8
  • lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 3 Tbsp
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • broccoli pieces - 1 c
  • medium tomatoes, wedged - 2 item
  • green onion with tops, chopped - 1/2 c
  • pepperoni slices, cut in half - 1 item
  • Bac*Os or real bacon - 1/4 c
  • bite size lettuce or salad greens - 4 c
  • medium zucchini, 1/2 sliced or quartered - 1 item
  • sliced or small pieces cauliflower - 1 c
  • green peppers, bite size pieces - 1/2 c
  • celery, bite size pieces - 1/2 c

How to make layered garden pasta salad:

Cook pasta as directed, rinse in cold water. Add onions and Bac*Os to pasta. In separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, cheese, sugar and garlic powder. Using a 3 1/2-quart salad bowl, layer lettuce, pasta mixture and vegetables. Top with dressing mixture and border with tomatoes; top with extra Bac*Os. Refrigerate 2 hours or more before serving.
