Ingredients/Components
- sweet or hot sausage - 1 lb
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- cloves crushed garlic - 2 item
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- basil
- fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- canned tomatoes - 1 qt
- cans tomato paste - 2 item
- water - 1/2 c
- lasagna noodles - 12 item
- container Ricotta cheese - 1 (15
- egg - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 3/4 lb
- Parmesan cheese - 3/4 c
How to make lasagna:
Combine Ricotta cheese, egg, remaining parsley and salt. In bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, spoon 1 1/2 cups sauce. Layer with noodles. Spread with 1/2 Ricotta mixture. Top with 1/3 Mozzarella cheese. Spoon sauce over cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Repeat layering. Cover with foil. Bake 25 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 25 minutes longer.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
