Ingredients/Components
- egg yolks - 3 item
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- whipped cream or whipped topping - 1 item
- yellow or green food coloring optional - 1 item
- lime juice from concentrate - 1/2 c
- 8 or 9-inch baked pastry shell or graham cracker crust - 1 item
How to make key lime pie:
Preheat oven to 325°. In large mixing bowl, beat egg yolks and sweetened milk and add lime juice. Add food coloring, if desired. Pour into prepared pastry shell. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool. Chill. Top with whipped cream. Garnish, if desired.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
