Japanese chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- pkg - 14 oz
- salt - 2 tsp
- vinegar - 4 Tbsp
- can chow mein noodles - 1 oz
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- poppy seed - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- green onions, thinly sliced - 3 item
- to 4 cooked chicken breasts, slivered - 3 item
- large lettuce head, torn - 1 item
How to make japanese chicken salad:
Dressing:4 Tbsp. sugar4 Tbsp. vinegar2 tsp. salt1/2 c. salad oil1/2 tsp. pepper Dressing: Combine in container and shake.Mix first 3 ingredients. Add noodles, almonds and poppy seed just before tossing with dressing.
Time of preparation: 5 to 10 minutes if chicken breasts are prebaked and dressing is prepared. Serves 6 to 8.
