  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • evaporated milk
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 3/4 c
  • warm water
  • chopped onion - 1 item
  • yeast - 2 Tbsp
  • sweet milk - 1 c
  • self-rising cornmeal
  • candied fruit - 3/4 c
  • sliced jalapeno peppers as desired - 1 item
  • can whole kernel corn or Mexicorn - 1 item
  • Cheddar cheese, grated or chopped - 1 item

How to make jalapeno cornbread:

Let dough rise for 2 hours. Put in 3 pound coffee cans; let dough rise for 1 hour more. Bake for 1 hour at 375°.
