vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 4 c
water - 1 c
nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
soda - 1 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
raisins - 2 c
Crisco - 1/2 c
margarine - 1/2 c

How to make jumbo raisin cookies:

Add water to raisins and boil 5 minutes or until liquid decreases to 1/2 cup. Cool. Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add other ingredients alternately to cream mixture. Drop by 2 heaping teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 mi
