Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- diced onion - 1 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- shredded cabbage - 1 c
- cans stewed tomatoes - 2 1/2
- can mixed vegetables, drained - 1 oz
How to make italian soup:
Melt butter in large pan. Stir in onions and cabbage; heat 2 minutes. Add water and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in mixed vegetables, tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Midwestern u.s..
