Ingredients/Components
- clove garlic - 1 item
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- red wine
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- can Progresso tomatoes - 1 oz
- beef bouillon - 4 c
- sweet Italian sausage - 3/4 lb
- hot Italian sausage - 3/4 lb
- bow tie macaroni - 6 oz
How to make italian soup:
Cut sausage in chunks and brown. Pour off fat; saute onions and green pepper to soft. Add garlic, parsley, oregano, basil, tomatoes and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour. Before serving turn up heat and add bow tie macaroni. Cook until tender.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Midwestern u.s..
