Italian beef
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- oregano - 1 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- thyme - 1 tsp
- drops Tabasco - 3 item
- beef rump roast or chuck - 4 lb
- or cubes beef bouillon - 4 tsp
- to 8 pepperoncini peppers - 6 item
How to make italian beef:
Trim roast of any fat. Place in roaster and cover the top with the chopped onion. Combine the rest of the ingredients in blender until finely chopped. Pour over the roast and cover. Bake 3 hours or until done. There will be a lot of juice and the meat will be easy to slice. Place on hard rolls and ladle juice over. Enjoy!Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
