Ingredients/Components

vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 3 Tbsp
salt - 3/4 tsp
baking soda - 3/4 tsp
egg - 1 item
all-purpose flour
firmly packed brown sugar
Crisco shortening - 1/2 c
creamy peanut butter - 3/4 c

How to make irresistible peanut butter cookies:

Heat oven to 375°. Combine peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add egg; beat just until blended. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheet. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
