sugar - 1/2 c
vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 2 Tbsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour
baking soda - 1 tsp
egg - 1 item
shortening - 1/2 c
peanut butter - 1/2 c
packed light brown sugar - 1/2 c
kisses - 48 item

How to make peanut blossoms:

In large bowl, stir in flour, soda and salt; mix. Add other ingredients, except candy; mix well. Chill dough for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°. Roll dough into small balls. Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with fork. Bake until light brown. Remove and place kiss into the center of the cookie. Cool, then remove from cookie sheet.
