Ingredients/Components

  • large potatoes - 4 item
  • milk
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • medium onion - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • parsley optional - 2 Tbsp

How to make irish potato soup:

Peel potatoes and onion. Chop in large pieces. Cover with water in saucepan; boil until soft. Cool slightly; put through food processor or blender. Return to saucepan with milk; bring to boil. Season to taste. Add the butter. Serves 6. Serve sprinkled with parsley, if desired.
