Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • molasses - 1 c
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • cornmeal - 5 Tbsp
  • milk, scalded - 1 qt

How to make indian pudding:

Gradually add cornmeal to scalded milk, stirring constantly and continue to cook in double boiler for 20 minutes. Add all the other ingredients and turn into buttered baking dish. Pour 1 cup cold milk over top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
