Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
  • paprika - 1 item
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • minced parsley
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
  • small clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • whole chicken breasts, split, boned and skinned - 3 item

How to make imperial chicken:

Combine butter and garlic; set aside. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper; stir well. Dip each chicken breast in butter mixture and coat with bread crumb mixture. Roll tightly, starting at narrow end, and secure with a toothpick. Arrange rolls in a shallow baking pan. Drizzle with remaining butter and lemon juice. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
