Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- cold water - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make icebox rolls:
Cream sugar and Crisco in big mixing bowl; add boiling water. Stir until Crisco is melted; add cold water which has yeast dissolved in it. Add salt. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Add flour, making soft dough slowly. Cover with greased paper and put in refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours.
