Icebox cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 2 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour - 3 c
• brown sugar - 2 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1 c

How to make icebox cookies:

Cream the brown sugar and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time. Add milk and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and blend into sugar mixture. Add nuts. Roll in wax paper in log form. Chill until very firm. Slice into bars. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.
