  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • oleo, softened but not melted - 1 lb

How to make icebox cookies:

It may not take that amount of flour so go carefully, mixing well. Make into 3 rolls. Wrap wax paper around each and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Cut into 1/2-inch slices and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400° about 10 minutes. Watch. Can refrigerate rolls of dough up to 1 month.
