  • milk - 2 qt
  • sugar - 4 c
  • flour - 4 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 item
  • eggs - 8 item
  • vanilla - 4 Tbsp
  • cream - 2 qt
  • Mix rest of sugar, flour and eggs; beat until light

How to make ice cream:

Heat milk and half of sugar. Mix rest of sugar, flour and eggs; beat until light. Add to boiling milk; cook until thickened. Add vanilla and cream before freezing. Makes 2 gallons.Variations: Use half brown sugar and half maple flavor for maple ice cream.

Add one 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple for pineapple ice cream.
