Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 qt
- sugar - 4 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- salt - 1 item
- eggs - 8 item
- vanilla - 4 Tbsp
- cream - 2 qt
- Mix rest of sugar, flour and eggs; beat until light
How to make ice cream:
Heat milk and half of sugar. Mix rest of sugar, flour and eggs; beat until light. Add to boiling milk; cook until thickened. Add vanilla and cream before freezing. Makes 2 gallons.Variations: Use half brown sugar and half maple flavor for maple ice cream.Add one 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple for pineapple ice cream.
