Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- nuts - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- cooking oil
- mashed bananas - 2 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- box 10x confectioners sugar - 1 item
- Pour other ingredients over flour mixture and stir
How to make hummingbird cake:
Sift dry ingredients together in large mixing bowl and mix well. Pour other ingredients over flour mixture and stir. Do not beat. Bake in tube pan at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 stick margarine, melted1 box 10x confectioners sugar1 c. chopped nuts Mix all ingredients and frost cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
