Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 4 c
- medium onions - 12 item
- mustard seed - 2 tsp
- hot peppers - 24 item
- boiling water just to cover peppers and onions - 1 item
- cold water to cover peppers and onions - 1 item
How to make hot pepper relish:
Chop peppers and onions. Pour boiling water over peppers and onions, then drain. Cover with cold water. Bring to boiling point, then drain again. Put vinegar, salt, sugar and mustard seed in another pan and bring to boil. Add to peppers and onions and boil 1 minute.
