Hot fudge sundae cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- cup chopped nuts optional - 1 item
- hottest tap water
- favorite ice cream - 1 item
How to make hot fudge sundae cake:
Heat over to 350 degrees. Stir together flour, granulated sugar, 2 Tbsp. cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Add milk, oil and vanilla with a fork until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly in a 9 X 9 inch ungreased pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa. Pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Cut into squares. There will be a thick chocolate sauce underneath the cake when you take it out. Top each square with ice cream and spoon sauce over it.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Cakes.
