Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • cocoa - 2 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • hot water

How to make hot fudge sundae cake:

In greased square pan (9 x 9 x 2-inch), stir together the first 5 ingredients. Mix in the next 3 ingredients until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cocoa. Pour hot water over batter (do not stir!). Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream!!
