Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- diced celery - 2 c
- chopped pimento - 2 Tbsp
- diced cooked chicken - 2 c
- crushed potato chips - 1 c
- sharp cheese - 1/2 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Combine all ingredients, except cheese. Stir until well mixed. Pour in pan and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in 325° oven for about 20 to 30 minutes, until cheese melts and salad is hot.Note: You can add 1 cup cooked peas, if desired.
