Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- diced green pepper - 2 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- diced celery - 2 c
- diced, cooked chicken - 2 c
- can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 c
- jar pimento, drained - 2 oz
- slivered almonds or water chestnuts - 1/2 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix all together. Pour in buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese or chow mein noodles (or both). Bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
