Hot chicken salad casserole
Ingredients/Components
- diced, cooked chicken
- toasted, slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- minced onion - 2 tsp
- cream of chicken soup - 1 c
- cooked rice - 1 c
- diced celery - 1 c
- lemon juice - 3 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pimento - 1 c
- Rice Krispies - 1 item
How to make hot chicken salad casserole:
Mix first 10 ingredients thoroughly. Put in a baking dish. Sprinkle with Rice Krispies. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings. May be frozen.Ina Clagg uses 1 small jar of diced pimentos.
