Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- honey - 2 Tbsp
- poppy seed - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Dijon-style mustard - 1 Tbsp
- total, skinned and halved lengthwise - 2 whole
How to make honey-mustard chicken:
In a small bowl, combine honey, mustard, lemon juice, poppy seed and pepper. Rinse chicken; pat dry. Place chicken, bone side up, on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 15 minutes. Turn. Continue broiling for 10 minutes.Brush with honey-mustard mixture. Broil about 5 minutes more or until tender and no longer pink. Makes 4 servings.
