Ingredients/Components
- flour - 5 Tbsp
- butter - 4 tsp
- cooked chicken - 3 c
- chicken broth - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- grated cheese - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- chopped pimento - 1/4 c
- large can evaporated milk - 1 item
- yellow Spanish rice Virgo - 1 pkg
How to make chicken rice casserole:
Cook rice according to package directions except use broth leftover from boiling the chicken. In pan, combine butter, flour, chicken broth, soup and milk over low heat until thick. Add pimento, green pepper, salt and pepper. Mix with the cookedRecipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
