Homemade vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- lemon pepper - 2 tsp
- black pepper - 2 tsp
- spaghetti noodles - 1 item
- carrots, chopped - 2 item
- potatoes, cubed - 2 item
- beef stew meat - 1 pkg
- bacon drippings - 1 item
- can mixed vegetables - 1 item
- small can whole corn - 1 item
- frozen okra, chopped - 1 pkg
How to make homemade vegetable soup:
Brown all sides of stew meat. Place in a 5-quart pot that is filled with 3 quarts of water. Let meat cook for 1 hour for tenderness. Add tomatoes, corn, onion, potatoes, okra, salt, pepper, sugar, lemon pepper and carrots. Let simmer for 30 minutes.
