Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- milk - 1 pt
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- cream - 1 pt
How to make homemade ice cream:
Beat eggs and milk. Stir cornstarch into a little milk. Cook in a double boiler until mixture thickens. After cooled, put into freezer and add sugar and cream. Fill up freezer with milk until about 3 1/2 inches from top. Add vanilla and salt. Stir well and freeze.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Low sodium.
