Homemade granola
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1/4 c
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/4 c
- sesame seed - 1/4 c
- old fashioned oats - 4 c
- oil optional - 1/3 c
- untoasted wheat germ - 1 c
How to make homemade granola:
In saucepan, mix peanut butter, honey, oil, milk and salt. Pour dry ingredients and stir. Add sauce mixture. Pour into broiler pan. Bake in 300° oven for 20 minutes. Stir and bake 10 more minutes. Store in tightly covered container.Variations: Add raisins and dates. Use as cereal, snack or topping for ice cream.
