Homemade chicken soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 6 item
- medium onions - 3 item
- whole fat hen chicken - 1 item
- chicken necks healing in neck - 3 item
- bag egg noodles or wild rice * - 1 item
- Swiss instant chicken gravy - 4 pkg
How to make homemade chicken soup:
*Or you can make homemade noodles.You will need a large pot.
Cover hen in pan with water. Cook until it falls off the bone. Separate bones from meat in pan. Put bouillon in pan with chicken. Dice onions. Add to pan, then add egg noodles. Cook until done.
In the meantime, take about 1 cup of broth from the pan. Set aside to cool. When broth has cooled, mix chicken gravy (all 4 packages). Stir until smooth, then add to chicken and noodles. Stir in well. Makes a good broth.
