High protein bread
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 3/4 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- whole wheat flour - 1 c
- small curd cottage cheese - 1 c
- oats - 1/2 c
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- fast rising yeast - 2 Tbsp
How to make high protein bread:
Heat water, honey and butter until warm. Add cottage cheese. Then add to dry mix. Add eggs. Add nuts last. Let rise until double in size. Make out 2 large loaves. Let rise one time. Make loaves again and let rise a second time. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Grains, Yeast breads.
